What to Expect During Sunday Worship
Worship is an expression of everything we do and therefore we have designed our Sunday mornings to reflect that belief:
We worship God through song:
Our worship team leads us in a blend of traditional and contemporary styles.
We worship God through giving:
God has given us everything and every Sunday provides an opportunity to give proportionally to God's provision in your life. Monies collected support the ministry of this congregation in our community and around the world.
We worship God through prayer:
We believe that prayer aligns us with the will and plan of God. In accordance with God's will and plan, we seek healing for the sick, comfort for the hurting, and direction for our congregation. Some Sundays we gather around someone to anoint them with oil and pray for them about a specific need (James 5:13-16).
We worship God through the Word:
Every week we have a time of looking into the Word of God and seek to apply it to our daily lives. We are challenged to live out our worship throughout the week.
We worship God through the Lord's Supper:
Once a month, we share together in the Lord's Supper, or communion, and remember that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. All who believe in Jesus Christ are welcome to participate. Sometimes we come forward to be served individual wafers and cups of juice by the ushers, and to kneel at the altar or return to our seats to reflect and partake of these elements. Other times, ushers serve wafers and juice to us in our seats. If you don't wish to participate, you are welcome to remain seated rather than coming forward, or to pass the plates of wafers and juice to others in your row.
