Heart to Honduras
Transform someone's world, and in the process, transform your own
As followers of Jesus, Heart to Honduras is committed to follow His
teachings by the enabling of His Spirit. They pursue partnership with others (including teams from First Church of God and our sister church in El Sitio, Honduras) to carry out a model of caring for others that calls forth the gifts and resources of the entire community in order to address a particular problem.

Helping people in times of need
Contact Ministry daily serves the greater Springfield community by providing emergency and transitional shelter, with life skills and training as well as food, clothing, financial assistance and referrals through Christ's love and compassion.

Washington Street Mission
Sharing the love of Jesus with the people of Springfield by providing opportunities to meet their spiritual and physical needs
Ministries include neighborhood coffee hour, free clothing shop, transition house, and a summer children's program.

Bishop Edward Nkansah is the national contact for the 19 Church of God congregations in Ghana, West Africa with over 2000 constituents. He also directs Children of Promise in Ghana. This child sponsorship ministry of the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana, partners with congregations across the globe to provide food, schooling, health care, and spiritual nurture to children in need. The ministry now reaches children in poor, isolated villages as well as those in teeming, urban slums.
